CELBRATING 20 YEARS OF PRIVATE PRACTICE IN THE TREASURE VALLEY!

Welcome to Paramount Family Dentistry (a.k.a. Dr. Hisel and Dr. Hoidal’s Office!)

After serving our country for 39 months in the United States Air Force Dental Corp, Dr. Hisel opened his doors and saw patients in private practice for the very first time. Most of the patients seen on that first day are still patients today! We still have our first appointment book (on paper!) and enjoy looking at it periodically to remind us of our very first days. We are so thankful to all of our great patients who trust us with their dental needs.

Since that first day, our practice relocated only once to an office on Garverdale Court before moving to our current location in January, 2003. Our staff has grown from one Doctor, one Dental Assistant and Terri managing the Front Office to a team of two Doctors and 10 Clinical and Administrative Team members. Until 2008 we operated under the practice name of John E. Hisel, Jr., D.D.S. With the addition of Dr. Eric Hoidal in July of 2008, we found it necessary to actually “name” our practice. The name “Paramount Family Dentistry” was chosen by Dr. Hisel and our team in honor of Dr. Hisel’s late father. John E. Hisel Sr. was a builder in our community for many years and passed away in October, 2007. He was a man of great integrity and had a huge influence on any “friend” he met. His corporation in the 1970’s was called “Paramount Inc.”

At Paramount Family Dental we pride ourselves in what we like to call a “relationship driven” dental practice. Our most important goal is to get to know our patient’s while at the same time providing them with the best dentistry possible. Over the last 20 years we have enjoyed “growing up” with many of our patients and their families, while as a team we have seen our own families grow and change! As you enjoy reading our Staff Bio’s you will learn that many of us have been together for a number of years. Together we have spent time white water rafting, attending local concerts and plays, at one another’s homes, shopping at the mall, and in October, 2008 we even went on a cruise to Mexico!

We are very excited about the future of Paramount Family Dentistry and are thankful to each of you who are a part of our great patient family. We consider it an honor to serve you.
